Divisoria vs. Greenhills Between the two, I pretty much favor Divisoria because it is much nearer to our place. However, selection for men in divisoria is quite few. That's why if I want to buy long sleeved polos, I'd pretty much prefer Greenhills. For women/ladies/girls, Divisoria is the shopping haven. Prices are really cheap and of good quality - if you know how to check for quality in the first place. However, during this time, it's already beginning to get crowded because of early christmas shoppers. It's better to go there during the weekdays during the morning. For divisoria, a thousand bucks is already a stretch. You may already have a handful of goodies with that amount of money. There's also a new some kind of high-end mall near 168. The Lucky Chinatown. It's still new. It kinda reminds me of the Bugis junction mall in singapore. It is just a few walks away from the 168 mall. Go to the place just for food or malling, but shopping-wise, divisori...

This is my grand return to blogging after a long hiatus. A lot has changed in my life since my last blog: getting married, starting a family, and having a kid. Having a kid is fun but very tiresome, at the same time costly - but the joy of starting a family outweighs them all. The sleepless nights, the costly milk formula, the diapers, the cost of pediatricians, etc.etc. But really, no amount can match when you see your baby smile, wants you to cradle him, play with him. These are priceless. When me and my wife had our first and cute baby boy, we had to forego a lot of activities when we were still in our bf/gf stage and during our first years of marriage. Friday nights can never be 'fly-day' nights to dine or watch a movie anymore. As soon as you leave the office bundy, it's always go home to the baby. I am not really a "travel bug", as people say for people who are always on the go for travels, but I would look forward to travel "locally" if opportunity (financial and time-wise) strikes. Two of the most recent travels I made are in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte; and Puerto Princesa, Palawan. I was able to take a longer weekend -offs during the past two weeks of February to accompany my Uncle and Aunt in their Philippine vacation to escape the winter in Seattle. I am going to set this one straight...this has been Cebu Pacific's catch phrase for their air transportation services, "Cebu Pacific Air - It's time everyone (every Filipino) flies". I would like to share this horror experiences I encountered with Cebu Pacific, from ticketing up to actual date of departure. So here goes the story: It was January 9, 2008 that I decided to book a flight for 7 PAX to Puerto Princesa. I booked via their Customer Service Hotline Number. I was booked for a roundtrip ticket from MNL - Puerto Princesa and vice versa. I was given a confirmation day on January 12, 2008 on/before 3:00 PM. Ticket fare is P4,515 per head. Came January 12, 2008, a Saturday - I made my way to their ticketing office in Robinson's place, Manila to confirm booking and pay for the tickets. My brother has always been the most successful in the family-career wise. He worked in Singaporethe past 9 years and went back at home for good in 2006.
