Looks like it's probably going to be around for quite some time

The covid situation can be controlled but it would take time. It's not like its gonna be eradicated in a couple of years time. Sad fact. As with other pandemics in history before, it's likely going to stay around for quite some time as per the World Health Organization (WHO). At the rate that countries are rolling-out vaccines and new variants come and mutate, it's highly unlikely we're here to conquer it at least by the end of the year.

Similar to pandemics in the early 1900s like the measles, or tuberculosis which took many lives during that time. The world is just bound to perfect the antidote for covid that would make it likes measles or chickenpox nowadays....easily treatable but no more deadly.

Let's hope and pray that this will be bound to happen very soon. ~end~

It's time everyone flies...but with Cebu Pacific? Not anymore...

I am going to set this one straight...this has been Cebu Pacific's catch phrase for their air transportation services, "Cebu Pacific Air - It's time everyone (every Filipino) flies". I would like to share this horror experiences I encountered with Cebu Pacific, from ticketing up to actual date of departure. So here goes the story: It was January 9, 2008 that I decided to book a flight for 7 PAX to Puerto Princesa. I booked via their Customer Service Hotline Number. I was booked for a roundtrip ticket from MNL - Puerto Princesa and vice versa. I was given a confirmation day on January 12, 2008 on/before 3:00 PM. Ticket fare is P4,515 per head. Came January 12, 2008, a Saturday - I made my way to their ticketing office in Robinson's place, Manila to confirm booking and pay for the tickets. Painful experience of letting-go and moving-on...

Yesterday evening was one of the biggest blows in my life. My girlfriend for almost five years and I called it quits . But it was rather an unforgettable experience, quite having me to pass-on sleeping last night. She broke up with me through text. it has been my fourth time going to singapore, and with each time I went the place never fails to amaze me. It is very clean, mass transport very efficient, comfortable and reliable (when I say reliable it's always on-time with no glitches whatsoever). To me the place is really a haven for shopping (if you have enough dough or you plastic money has the credit limit, then go for it). I really enjoyed the mass rail system they have which will bring you to a lot of places without any hassles. And singapore is also a safe place where you can stay up to 12 MN outdoors without the fear of getting mugged or harassed. One thing that I do not like though is that it can be quite expensive for tourists with just enough budget. Though food is quite affordable with different flavors since the country is quite multi-cultural. I really liked the malaysian food since the taste is much more nearer to the filipino palate.
